I built my CNC router from scratch as I wanted to cut full size sheets but still be ably to move the unit around the workshop when not in use. It’s control system is LinuxCNC, the setup of which stretched both my electrical and coding knowledge. Even though it is fairly light and mobile it has great accuracy. I use it both for my own projects and production parts for a number of companies. I have made a wide variety of parts, from guitar bodies right through to flat pack, easy assemble furniture. Once a product is drawn in CAD and programmed in it can be replicated exactly as many times as needed.
